Apply for Schymberg Award 2026

The Schymberg Foundation and the Nordic Chamber Orchestra present the Hjördis Schymberg Award 2026 – a competition for young Nordic opera singers.

Apply with two recordings, sound and picture, of two contrasting arias, with the singer clearly visible, and at least one aria with piano. Latest application May 31.

Finals at the Tonhallen concert hall, Sundsvall, with the Nordic Chamber Orchestra, on February 28, 2026.
